We've been residents for 7 years and needless to say, the first 6 were real rocky. That being said, since Berkshire took over, things have started to get better. Yes, we still have a multitude of issues in our unit and yes, things are still slow to get fixed BUT there does seem to be a genuine effort to remedy issues under the new management. Units are being referbed as old tenants move out and the cleaned up/updated units look pretty good. The office manager is actually in the office during office hours every day and is nice, as are the new leasing agents. We've had the same maintenance staff for awhile now and they are always out working around the complex. All of the buildings have been cleaned, repaired, and repainted and the siding has been replaced. All in all, the complex is turning around. Still haven't had a single issue with a neighbor; our neighbors are all decent, quiet people. The only issue we have these days is other people's kids coming into our complex to start problems, but that has nothing to do with the apartments themselves and the management has made provisions to limit that too. Worth a look if you want the suburban schools without the $3k price tag of uptown or the north end.

I love lake forest apartments service is great the staff management's is friendly 1 year experience ,but I lost multiple orders,delivery at the office or not. And my water bill always the same amount every months for 12 months only 1 adult 2 kids a live my a house 6 to 6 weekend I'm home fix that problem
