Mt. Hood Village RV Resort in Oregon opened in 1984 and has always been known throughout the industry as the premier RV park in the Northwest. The Village offers a variety of guest accommodations, including vacation cottages, rustic cabins and yurt rentals. Also available at Mt. Hood Village are more than 300 wooded RV resort sites. Noteworthy details: I'm staying in an RV. I've not seen the cabins, but based on everything else, I'm sure they're nice.

The biggest issue is that they have an outdoor pool but its not open in the winter (like other places at Mt Hood). This is very disappointing especially seeing we stay and store all winter. They need to reconsider this as its a big negative for winter visitors. The heated pool in the winter is a huge perk. There are definitely some upgrades that need to be made and I believe some are getting done currently. Having a heated pool for the winter visitors would be so amazing!!!!!!
Nearby activities: Hiking, Salmon River Windows, Mt hood is only 30 min away, playground, great restaurants.
Safety: Its nice that its gated. Everyone is very friendly and helpful to each other.
