Although they ran out of most items on their menu, the ribs were excellent. The sides were amazing and we look forward to eating here again one day. I highly recommend Big Eds.

Been here at least a dozen times over the years, and really want to give Big Ed's 5-stars, especially for the food and service - staff is really friendly and helpful.
Portions are plentiful.
Several sauce options (thinner than I'm accustomed-to, but very flavorful)
Atmosphere is simple (order/pay at counter), a little dark (dark paneling/tables/chairs), with a bar that's larger than the food counter.
As mentioned, service is top-notch. But it's not setup well when there's more than a couple people placing orders - the queue runs between tables where folks are eating.
Even though the portions are plentiful, the prices are a little high (not outrageous, but high given the simple nature of the place) - $14 for a pulled-pork sandwich with fries... $23 for a full slab dinner... $11 for a simple entre salad.
