Incredibly frustrating when a department of our federal government has apparently lost the ability to answer the phone, return a phone call, or in any other way perform the duties of their department as clearly laid out in U.S. Department of Justice federal regulations. Fortunately, I am able to access the internet and send additional email requests for Freedom of Information Act materials, which is not something everyone is able to do. However, sending repeated emails does not mean that anybody is reading them, and it DEFINITELY DOES NOT MEAN THAT ANYONE IS BOTHERING TO ACTUALLY RESPOND TO THEM OR IN ANY OTHER WAY PERFORM THE DUTIES OF THEIR OFFICES. Serious scrutiny needs to be applied to this branch of our federal government to determine why federally imposed laws and regulations ARE NOT BEING ADHERED TO.
