Slowly demolishing Brooklyn Manor now. There is supposed to be a new complex built in the future but that was over 3 years ago. After the shopping center went down apartment blocks started to go shortly afterwards. What will happen to residents who depend on apartments provided through DC Housing Authority and vouchers is still to be determined. Armed guards patrol regularly. If they see you leaning against a fence they will tell you to get off of it.
