I had a great experience with Home Loan Investment Bank when I recently opened a CD at the Cowesett branch. I worked with Amy and found her to be very knowledgeable and helpful - so much so that I recommended this bank to my two children who subsequently opened accounts.

They lent me money for solar panels. The fact that they were putting a lien on my house was in the fine print.
They keep saying I was late on a payment and I never was. I was a month ahead and got even. They still threaten me about that, saying I'm late.
They call it a mortgage. Now I've noticed they take out taxes and insurance but they don't apply it anywhere.
I have a mortgage with US Bank and the escrow gets applied to my yearly taxes and to my house insurance company, so I know how that's supposed to work.
