Parking in downtown Walnut Creek is TERRIBLY strict. Dont even be late to your car by a minute, youll get a $45 ticket. Also note this happened on a SUNDAY. I dont even care to go to downtown Walnut Creek anymore. Its sad how the city cares more about giving excessive and unfair parking tickets rather than the happiness of their residents.
Update: I tried to have the ticket appealed for being late by 3 minutes. I was saying good bye to a friend who was visiting from New York at Tellus.
Appeal was denied so I paid the ridiculous $45 ticket and theres a $3.50 processing fee to pay online too. ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!? Even more money going to this stupid city?? NEVER GOING BACK to WALNUT CREEK!!!

The other reviews are true BEWARE: you will get a ticket if you use the parking meters. I would love to support downtown Walnut Creek. But not if it costs me $45 for parking.
