First Fidelity Appraisal Services of New England was tasked by our bank to do an appraisal for the property we are obtaining a mortgage for. The reason for my low rating was because the appraiser made a crucial mistake of having a wrong Square Footage in the property. I immediately reached out and pointed this important mistake in order to have the appraisal report updated, but did not receive a reply. How can you have a valid appraisal if one of the main component of the appraisal was incorrect. I expect an appraiser to be careful and meticulous in their work to be trustworthy.
