Our experience here has been EXCELLENT ! They are very thorough, knowledgeable, and courteous! Not only do we feel like we are getting top notch products and services, but we can say we have friends here too! That makes all the difference in the world when coming out of tragedy and making way to our new life. We are very grateful ! Thanks again

Run by staff that truly care about what they do, and helps you not feel so alone during the process of getting a prosthetic.
However, make sure to get second opinions if possible when it comes time to choose a prosthetic option. Mistakes are very easily made in choosing the most correct prosthetic—the team at Elite is unfortunately not as transparent with patients about all possible options as one would wish they would be. I myself was told I was not able to receive a C-leg because it would not work—only to find out after having received a different leg that not only was the C-leg INDEED doable with my level of amputation, but furthermore the leg I DID receive would not be able to perform nearly ANY of the functions that the prosthetist explicitly expressed said they would. Additionally, I was given a socket that unfortunately turned out to be completely inappropriate for my level of amputation and support/suspension needed to ambulate myself as best as possible. My last issue I encountered wirh Elite had to do wirh the billing department—my prosthetic limb was accidentally billed out of network, and resulted in myself receiving a bill for over $10k. This billing mistake was thankfully resolved rather quite quickly
when Elite was made aware of the situation, despite the fact that the situation was avoidable to begin with.
Now, I certainly do not believe these mistakes were ever made maliciously with any intent, nor from a lack of caring about me as a patient. It is simply an unfortunate reality of what occurred during my own experience wirh the company.
It should also be noted—in order to be fair, the company did reach out and apologize for the severe struggle and inconvenience(to say the least) that the mistake(s) caused, and offered to work wirh me on getting the C-leg switched out wirh the one I received. Unfortunately by that point I had already transitioned to a prosthetist team that I felt had a much better grasp on what I needed and how to navigate the prosthetic appeal process as a through-the-knee amputee.
I simply hope that by sharing my experience, it will help even one person make sure they make the right choice when navigating this difficult and nuanced field, and even be a little more aware of all the things that may unfortunately occur when finding the right fit(no pun intended). Elite has helped many people who are incredibly satisfied, which is why I went to them in the first place—it just so happened that my situation had some very unfortunate circumstances and decisions occur.

Absolutely the best help I've had since my amputation. Every question and concern I have had has been answered in full detail. If anything at all feels incorrect on my prosthetic I can go anytime and even if I don't have a ride John has come to pick me up just to get me there to fix the problem. Unlike other Prosthetics companies that try and convince you that everything looks right, Elite makes sure that YOU are comfortable in your everyday activities.
