I have seen Dr. Ballew two times. The first visit was informative and he trimmed my toe nails. I attempted to cut an ingrown toenail out myself and left some in the nail bed area.
The toenail became inflamed and today and he was amazed that my toe had not become infected. Dr Ballew was able to do a procedureto getrest of it out and I'm going to go back in a week to see him as a follow-up. The entire treatment team there are very professional! After this experience I do not plan on missing my 3-month podiatry visits I think it's important I never knew toes were important but yes they are! My thanks to the entire treatment team.

My previous medical and hospital administration that I have and I cannot recommend Dr.Ballew. I went to him for a fracture bone in my big toe and awoke during surgery and Dr.Ballew said that I didnt awake. Unfortunately, I heard every word and was angry in Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) and got dressed and walked out. Im sure Dr.Ballew and the anesthesiologist heard me along with the nurses and witnessed how angry I was and the lack of attention that he was very callous to. I cannot recommend him to any patient and the the State of Texas Medical Board.

I have used Dr Ballew in the past and was very pleased. However his ego has outgrown his professionalism. He all but called me a liar in his office today. I will be in search of a new podiatrist.

The office staff is totally and completely incompetent. I was told several times about the abcess that the receptionist had and that's why she couldn't do her job. Then was told that they were talking about me. I was would NOT recommend this office they do not have anything together

The Dr did an ok job with my problem but was just as interested in selling 'custom inserts' for my shoes at $600 out of my pocket. And I was forced to sign paper work that said, if insurance didn't pay, I would be responsible. I was also made to pay at the time that I checked out for a procedure that was paid for by my insurance and at a month later, I have not been contacted about a refund!
