Arrived sunday with extreme abdominal pain and Had to have surgery Monday night at 8pm for a intestinal blockage. The night nurses were great but the daytime rn not so much. Asked for water and got it at best 45 minutes later. Was released at I beleive 2pm Tuesday to go home with 26 staples. The daytime rn didn't make sure all pads from leads were removed and I removed 1 more today when showering. Worst part was I had to walk from my room to the elevator then sat on front bench till my ride showed up. It sounds petty but after surgery I was very week feeling and was exhausted when I got to the front bench.

If I can give zero stars for the Financial / Billing Department, I would. I have never had so many issues with a healthcare provider when it comes to their financial / billing department (due to an ER visit). Also beware that they will try to bill you an amount for services, although you have medical insurance, "because you have not met your deductible, yet (excuse)". I should have had to only pay the medical insurance co-pay amount to get services. There was pressure at the time indicating that they could not provide service until Tanner received a payment. They make it like they are doing you a great service by giving you a discount if you pay it. That is until you actually follow-up on all the billing and trying to get a refund from them. It's been 6 months trying to resolve this problem. I am currently working with my medical insurance provider representative and Tanner's billing department is giving them the run around too! They told my medical insurance rep that Tanner did not receive payment from the medical insurance company! Somehow Tanner's financial department is either inept with their transaction process or their department management is poor. If you obtain services from Tanner make sure you get detailed statements from them especially if you paid them. Tanner's emailed payment receipt is not detailed enough. Also review every medical insurance EOB you get from your medical insurance provider for that date of service too. Leaving this review in hopes that it will help others, because no one should have to go through this headache and financial burden.
