Extremely Disappointed!
I have been a client since 2022 and just finalized the paperwork and still no distribution. The QDRO that was submitted to the courts and the retirement companys were submitted with errors. First and the most obvious disappointment was due to poor attention to detail and very poor communication and customer service from
Sarah B. And Katie G.
Unfortunately, I had to stay on top of this case.
Mr. Muir had to get involved after I requested a closer look. After this closer look, I was entitled to more money due to errors from both Katie and Sarahs calculations.
Other disappointments occurred such as being ignored when I mentioned in an email only one QDRO judgment was submitted to the courts when we had two plans to distribute; this caused even more delays. I truly feel that so many errors could have been avoided.
While Mr. Muir is very knowledgeable and professional, due to his overall staff and associates, I would recommend another firm since he doesnt handle the case personally- only the initial consultation.

My divorce attorney recommended me to the Law Offices of Rich Muir, and l am happy he did. All in all, my experience with the Law Offices of Richard Muir was EXCELLENT. Attorneys Barkan and Gruemmer primarily worked on my QDRO casw, and I define them in three words - Knowledgeable. Professional. Dedicated. They made themselves available to answer my many questions, and I had about a hundred of them. I definitely recommend their services. Just remember - this is a legal process that will take time, so have patience. Also, if anything does comes up regarding your case, they will contact you, and review everything in its entirety. Angelina Nanos has not responded to my emails or voice-mail in 7 months. I'm constantly told that she's not in the office. The person answering the phone will not allow me to leave a message for Rick Muir. I've been dealing with this office since January 2019. The person who was handling the case in the beginning was fantastic. Now, no one cares when I tell them that Angelina is not doing her job. She should be fired!
