Stayed total 3 nights. Compared to most Super 8's, this is very nice. I'm highly sensitive to cigarette smoke, could smell some first night, didn't say anything. Second night, beginning early, 9:30pm, I called front desk. Employee very kind. Woke at 1am, stronger smell, again at 4am with headache, went downstairs. Employee nice, said she couldn't smell it she's a smoker. It's cold out, people open windows & think it all goes outside. Night person ok'd a 10% discount but next day, gm disapproved it. Had to stay 3rd night, Cherry Mae, afternoon says to me as if she's "shouting or scoulding" at me, "It's State Law. Nobody smoke here". Told her I know smell when it's there, instant headache, please don't tell me I didn't smell it. She kept repeating & shouting at me; this woman has been condescending since I came, I know culture's communicate differently, thought at first maybe that was it, no. She should not be working with public. Told her looking in her eye. "Do not tell me for the 4th time about the ridiculous State Law, people don't smoke in motels"!! Next you see her, she pretends short, fake kindness, "Oh, how's your room look today? I give you good one", looking at her desk the whole time. Stayed long term at motel in Rochester last year, they appointed me their "cigarette smoke dog". Whenever someone smelled smoke, I found the exact room. Night of 26th, it was right next door to me here. I'm polite and concerned only with noise & smoke, I resent the way I was treated by gm, Mary, & especially Cherry Mae, who should find a job not working with people. Asked her help on my phone 2nd day, she was also very condescending then, I just left. Cigarette smoke comes through walls, cracks, vents, plumbing, hallways & from outside, through a closed window. Go look it up Cherry & Mary. Night person, very nice, tried to accommodate, admits she doesn't smell it much, as per is true with smokers. Bottom line, if you don't have the guts to charge people who break the law, good people like me won't return.

The place was quite dingy and not kept up super well. Price wasnt to bad tho
