I had Andy from Belknap Electric come out to my house for my solar panel issues and he was awesome to work with. Super friendly, continuously touched base with me to let me know what he was doing and how my panels were (or at that time not) working, he got the issues figured out in a very timely manner. Extremely happy with the service and his customer service

Ive used them twice before and had good service. I called them again for a simple outlet replacement. The technician I had this time didnt have a clue what he was doing, he lied about his time in my home and tried to hit my dog. He ran into some resistance in the wall where the outlet was, my house was built in 1920 so it happens. He kept asking me, what did I want to do?? Im not the electrician you figure it out. Eventually, my son finishes it, pulled the wires out of the outlet and capped them off. Then I got the invoice, they billed me for 2 hours when he was there less than 1 hour. Benefit of ring camera, he arrives at 2:14pm and left at 3:05 pm. What tipped the scale for me never using them again and warning people is this young technician had the audacity to try and hit my dog with the extension piece on his drill. If you want a company that is professional in all aspects, dont use Belknap, he was disrespectful on so many levels and this is who they have representing their company.
***2/7 Update, I had a very honest conversation with Denny from Belknap, he did all he could to make it better and stated he planned on using this situation for training with techs.
I would consider using them again given the owner was willing to discuss this situation, not play the blame game or point fingers.

I needed some electrical work done for my rental unit inspection, as there was some weird DIY issue(s?) from the previous home-owner. I called Belknap Electric and they were the only electric company that could get me on the schedule within the month--I needed services in time for my rental inspection, so timing was pertinent. I waited just over a week before my work order came up in their system, and I was able to have them come immediately--which was such a splendid surprise as I was expecting to wait at least two weeks for servces. The gentleman who showed up was respectful, friendly, and communicative. I was able to tend to my job (I work remotely) with little to no interruption from the electrician/loss of power, and he was helpful in explaining all things electrical that were ongoing through the exploratory phase of my project. As a woman, I felt safe and comfortable in my home with the electrician there--something I value so greatly I felt it necessary to mention this in my review. This company is extremely thorough, conscientious of time use, reasonably priced and SO easy to work with. I'd recommend Belknap Electric for all of your electrical needs and I will surely be calling them for all of my future electrical services. Services: General repairs, Electrical outlet & switch repair, Electrical wiring repair, Electrical outlet & switch installation
