My parents look forward to eating at Melody Gardens. The price is right, the service is wonderful and if they eat everything on their plate they get homemade ice cream for dessert

I always love going to this mom and pop diner with my family weekly. Homemade ice cream and kids cones are $1 so always a fun treat for after school. Dinners are great when the owners are working. It's a nostalgic feeling with some of the meals they make. Prices are great and portions are spectacular. It's cash only but way cheaper then going to Applebee's or some name chain and the food/portions are way better here anyways. Definitely worth taking the family here.
Parking: It's a decent sized parking lot but can get busy on the weekends, holidays, or days they have skating roughly 1-4:30 with parties. We don't usually have a issue finding a parking spot but easter we did have to wait a while to find a spot. But any other day it's pretty easy to get parking. They do have plenty of handicapped parking which my parents are thrilled about when they come to town.
Kid-friendliness: The owners are super kid friendly. They come and talk to us when it's not too busy. Even when they have skating they offer to teach kids to skate. Super outgoing people.
