Work to install an electrical line for a hot water heater was done correctly and timely, but clean up after installation was less than a giid job. The person never cleaned the wood shavings from the holes that were drilled. Wood peices over our freezer, floor, my travel bag, and bits and pieces on the floor from the hot water heater to the breaker box. The plates from the breaker box that were removed to put the breakers in were tossed on the floor. So, if a company can't clean up after a job is in my opinion not a company who cares about doing a good job for their customers. Makes me wonder what other corners were cut fir this installation. Disappointed customer took an hour to clean up the mess.

I was very happy with the service Mike Z. provided. Came out promptly right after a big snow storm and worked verd hard under difficult circumstances.

No call, no show! When I called them to see where they were, I said I had an appt scheduled and asked if we were still on, the person who answered the phone sounded perplexed and repeated, "This is Dakota Electric." To which I replied, "I know. I have an appt with you and one of your guys was supposed to be here 10 minutes ago." She had no idea how to handle a phone call. She literally could have just said she didn't know as she didn't typically answer phones and say she'd have someone call me back. Instead she proceeded to fumble the conversation not knowing what to say or how to answer any of my basic questions. I had to direct the conversation with what questions she should ask me (do you need my phone number? Is someone going to call me back?). Does she not know how to talk on the phone? Apparently the electrician got called out on an emergency call. Ok. I can I understand that, but was someone going to call and let me know?! A text even? Something? I drove over to a property and I'm just waiting around. To this day (two weeks later) they've never called me back to apologize or even reschedule. Sad. Won't be using Dakota with that kind of service.
