image This is  warm and welcoming group, but PCUSA no longer considers God's Word as sufficient.  Very little focus on the Gospel; this is more a social action group than a Christian church.

image This is a church of people who have within them to connect with others that live and display what Christ has wanted for our lives. Having compassion for this world and sharing their love, caring, experiences, without judgement. Moving forward with action to make differences in the lives of all peolpe. Yes, you can call this unity of people family. I do believe if you ask God for direction he will answer to where you should be....be ready and believe.

image Our family has belonged to First United Presbyterian in De Pere since the early 1990s (with a brief lapse while we lived in the South), and all four of our children were baptized here. Though there have been many, many changes over the last 20 years, this church feels like HOME to me. You'll find families (and singles) of all ages here on Sundays, Wednesdays, and probably most other days of the week. If you're looking for a welcoming and friendly church to visit, please stop by. We're on the corner of S. Webster and George.

image Contrary to the previous post this is a fantastic church--very warm and welcoming--not judgmental. If you are looking for a place to be judged--don't come here. We received a very warm welcome and felt right at home. The minister really brings home the message from the Bible and relates it to every day living. This church is involved in many mission projects and has lots of ways to get involved. It feels like a second family!

image I first visited this church last year - it has a wonderful atmosphere which I really appreciate in this stressed world we live in.  Also, the people seem very down-to-earth.  They seem to be far more involved in community programs than any other church I have attended.  A lot of things going on (soft ball, choir, community food & shelter program, music, memorial garden) that a person could get involved in if they wanted without joining the church.  Which I thought was pretty good since I'm not the type to become a "member".   I just visited recently and they have a new younger minister - I didn't see all the "professor" types that a previous reviewer had mentioned though.  They seem to be very family oriented but I also saw quite a few single people in the congregation.  A really nice mix of people.
