I have best rate right now however my truck was hit by someone who took off and it was parked. My concern is once I get a new vehicle then my rate is going to change which I understand they take into account the vehicle type model all of that but it should not change too much if they are considering my driving record. My issue right now is that they offer a 10-day payout and it's been almost a month and I still have not been paid for my vehicle, plus my rental is set to expire how can i find new car if no way to get around? My other issue is they take it to their repair shop instead of getting multiple estimates and then they total your vehicle out when in my opinion my vehicle should not have been totaled it could have been repaired for less than what they're saying . Other than that I like this insurance company so far..UPDATE they came through as they said they would even authorize extra week of rental so I could find new vehicle.

An adjustor was brought in of their choice, tells me my roof is at a total loss due to hail damages, and then Erie wants to bring out an engineer after from Building Envelope to inspect. In his report there was not a single hail damage. Which I find comical and confusing. You bring out two company of your choice, one says yes there is significant hail damage and the other says no. Building Envelope informed me when he was on site, they only get brought in when the policy owner hasnt been with the policy for long. I have requested to get the report from the first adjustor but they told me under Erie policy they can not, if that's the case how come they can release Building Envelope report to me but not the other. Oh yea i forgot because Building Envelope says there's no roof damage but the other report does.
I have not have any issues with Erie car insurance, but if you are looking for home insurance look elsewhere.

Does Avery Roosevelt even exist? My vehicle was hit by someone with Erie Insurance, and they directed me to Avery Roosevelt, who was my insurance adjuster. My insurance, Progressive, cannot reach this adjuster. The person who hit me, who has been very cooperative in this situation, has left a dozen voicemails, and I've called every day this week at different times, no answer from this adjuster. I was told my situation was 'escalated' and given her supervisor's name and number, Lynda Dunlap, who also does not answer the phone. Lynda at least has a voicemail that says she's on vacation today, the Friday before a holiday weekend. I can respect that. However, my car has been in the shop for a week and they can't start services because Erie is dodging calls from me and the person who hit me, so they can claim they don't have proof of fault. All I'm asking is for Avery Roosevelt to answer the phone.
