I went into dialysis treatment with a great deal of apprehension and fear. The staff there encouraged me from day one and reassured me in any way they could. It was clear to me that I was receiving professional care. What I expected to be a complete nightmare turned out to be something quite different. As my health improved, the staff kept me informed and helped me maintain an optimistic, and realistic, view of my recovery. They celebrated with me when my treatments were discontinued due to incredible improvement in my kidney function. Throughout my time in dialysis treatments I also observed that the staff treat EVERYONE with a great deal of respect, kindness, and compassion.
