This hotel has great potential, they just need to make some changes. Upon arrival I noticed numbers on the parking spots in the hotel lot. Found a kiosk outside, but a sign told hotel guests to go to the front desk. Then find out parking is $26 a day, even for guests. The stay was decently quiet, as there was hardly anyone staying for the week. Found that the ice machine did not work, so i would have to go to the 7th or 9th floor for ice. Was told by a waiter in the restaurant they were under 25% capacity. Found the patron lounge on the 25th floor after wandering to admire the different art pieces on every floor. There was supposed to be breakfast for guests in the morning according to the sign, from 6-9:30 am. Was disappointed to find an orange that was split open, 2 apples, about a dozen cokes and diet cokes, and some syrup packets at 6:30 the next morning. The rest of the week was quiet, until 4 busses rolled in Thursday night. Was quiet after they all checked in. Then 5:30 Friday morning I was awoken to what sounded like a zoo, or a rock concert, by all the noise coming from the hall just outside my room. People running the halls, hanging in doorways yelling into rooms, not what you want to hear before 6 in the morning. But whatever, I decided to get up and shower before departure, only to find luke warm water coming out the shower. Quick shower, packed up, and was out the door by 7:30. Upon checkout I found out they had double charged the room and that the manager was going to fix it. It was nice to see they had set up a couple of tables by the front desk with breakfast items, for the students that raised all hell in the early morning. All in all, the stay was decent, the room was decent, though a microwave available would have been nice. Best part about my stay was the nice view out my window, atleast until the clouds moved in.

Terrible. The fridge is squeaking and is driving us crazy. We are right by the elevators that are so loud I cannot sleep . It is clean so that's a plus. Won't be staying here again I didn't pay money to hear a loud elevator all night

Just had a lovely ladies weekend here. Overall we had a great time and would stay again.
The hotel is very conveniently located in Downtown Tacoma so you can walk to many places or take the streetcar. Also if you're there on a weekend just park on the street to avoid $26 charge. Off street parking ends after 6pm and is free on Sundays (the concierge was not helpful with this info). We walked everywhere.
We stayed in a double room on the top. floor. Beds are full sized and room was okay sized. But the view was incredible overlooking the Puget Sound! The style and ambience of the rest of the hotel is tasteful, lots of beautiful artwork and glass and lounges with fires.
Our favorite part of our stay was the Patron's lounge with snacks and beverages and a lovely hot breakfast in the morning. It was incredibly nice to have a space to view Mt Rainier 25 stories up and enjoy coffee privately.
