Called looking for help installing a security door after a break in at my father's house.. Lady I talked to was rude. Was talking to her. She told me to hold on, and then hung up on me. Earlier in the call she'd asked, and I'd given her my number in case we were to get "accidentally" disconnected. That call was 3 weeks ago, and I still haven't gotten a call back. Good thing I actually found another company to do the work. If that's the usual level of service, and I see from other comments, that atleast in my area it seems very likely, I would never recommend Paul Davis

Awful experience, avoid them at all costs! We had a leak in the roof and were put in touch with Paul Davis by our insurance company. They came out right away and put a tarp on the roof, but that was the most responsive they've been. After plenty of false promises, they did nothing at all to address the cause of the leak. They did try to send someone out to replace the ceiling drywall, but with a known leak in the roof, I sent them away, not wanting to deal with another wet ceiling. Sure enough, the tarp didn't fix the problem and the roof leaked again, after they wanted to repair it.
PD still hasn't done a single thing to fix the roof leak. They told me repeatedly that they would have an inspector come by, that a crew would come and look at it, that the tarp would be just fine...it's been nothing but excuses and delay. I finally went out and found a contractor to take care of the roof, which turned out to be a simple enough solution for someone who actually cared about their work.
I still have a hole in the ceiling where they tore out the sheetrock and insulation. Unfortunately the insurance already approved and paid for PD to complete the remediation work. They continue to not return calls and not schedule the work to be done. I would love to find someone else willing to do the job, but PD is holding the insurance settlement check. Due to their nonexistent customer service, endless excuse-making and utter failure to actually address the job, I'd never recommend Paul Davis to anyone.

Paul Davis was contracted by my insurance company to come out to my condo after a category 3 waste water leak that spread to the kitchen and bathroom. The techs who brought in the equipment tracked mud and dirt into my home, banged up walls bringing in/removing the fans/heaters/dehumidifier equipment and scratched up the flooring. When taping off these rooms to contain the contamination and seal them to better target for dehumidification, they did not completely seal them off, stating that they just didn't bring enough tape. 🤷🏼‍♀️ when the dehumidifiers and fans/heaters were removed, I asked the technician if that meant that everything was dry, and they said, "Pretty close, but we need this equipment for another job."
They were very hard to get in contact with the entire time. We had asked repeatedly for quotes and an estimated time line and also to be included on any paperwork that was sent to insurance. This did not happen. Kept hearing different stories about the scope of remediation that was to take place from several different people. No one was on the same page. The work was only partially completed. I am now almost a month post water damage and still waiting for the remaining remediation/demolition to be completed. I contacted 2 other contractors to take over the job in light of the complete failure of Paul Davis to adequate perform their duties.
