Gene Juarez Advanced Training Salon

I always plan to spend half a day at the salon -- the students are slow but I have had an excellent experience everytime I come in. Last time I came in the student and instructor went above and beyond what I expected. I had a full foil, the student blended the colors of the foil in with my grey. There is no obvious grow out after 8 weeks and everyone comments on how pretty my hair is.

The instructor used a slightly different technique to do what Cheryl had done, but she meant well. The team are very professional. This place closed down early in 2013.

Great value, can be slow. I've been going here for six years and never gotten a bad cut - and I have super thick, curly hair that a lot of stylists have trouble with. Depending on the experience of your stylist a cut can take a while, but less time than a standard training salon. The instructors help out with the less advanced students so you never have to worry about walking out neglected. I always get a cut I love and the stylists have been great about walking me thru maintenance.
