This was good software. For the past year I have had constant errors. I have given up getting screen errors and locking problems fixed, Data errors created by their programming errors go unfixed, Reasonable communications with their contract department are non-existent. The electronic insurance billing is very expensive Valant has raised its fee 2 - 3 times in 6 years. The billing edit screen has become very difficult to use on my 15 inch laptop due to changes in screens. Usability testing by programmers appears non-existent. Too bad, It WAS great software. I wrote a review 11/28/2023. Since then, it "appears" one of their programmers played with my settings, even time stamped me as changing the setting, I assume to annoy me for the negative review. My advice to this programmer. Read the book Programming As if People Mattered.

I have used this software since 2016. In the past two years the service has gone downhill. I now have constant errors - as in daily screen errors. Support is at best spotty. They have refused to fix their data errors. I have asked for a month to month contract as I am changing my practice when lease is up. I cannot get a call back even from the contracts office.

If you ever have any problems with this program (which you will because they rolled out an incomplete EHR), you will never be able to reach tech support. I am currently on hold at 43 minutes without talking to someone. They say to press 1 for a callback, but that doesn't work. (Update: the customer service person who did answer the phone is telling me to enter false information which I will have to go back and edit later) Yesterday, I finally received an email response to a support ticket I opened 2 weeks ago. The lag and outages from this EHR has cost our company AT LEAST 2 working business days.

Yesterday, I finally received an email response to a support ticket I opened 2 weeks ago. The lag and outages from this EHR has cost our company AT LEAST 2 working business days.
