Cometa Preschool

Our daughter attends the West Seattle location and we cannot imagine a better environment for her. She absolutely loves her "maestras" and looks forward to going to school every day. Her Spanish comprehension in just one year has been beyond my expectations. We will definitely be sending our second daughter to Cometa as well.

Our 3 yr old goes to Cometa in Wallingford. It has been so great!  The teachers are so patient with him and have been really helping him along with the language immersion!  They've also been supportive while he's been transitioning out of diapers!  It's fun but also structured enough so there is learning! I couldn't recommend it more.

We love this school (my daughter attends the location in Wallingford/Fremont neighborhood). Manuela runs a great program - she is very responsive and take a balanced approach to what kids need in regards to learning while also focusing on their social and emotional development. The teachers are amazing and kind. I wish we would have found this school sooner but I know my daughter will have fond memories of her year there.

Our son has been attending at the Wallingford location for over a year, and Cometa is truly everything we were looking for in a preschool. It is a Spanish immersion preschool taught by native speakers, and we can see that our son has been absorbing Spanish even with only attending two mornings a week. The director, Manuela, and teachers, Nicolet and Paula, are absolutely wonderful - they are warm, attentive, competent, and have taken the time and care to individually help our son work through a couple different issues that have come up. We love the content and design - they have arts and crafts; outdoor play; music; circle time where they learn letters, numbers, and vocabulary; and free play. We especially value that they teach the children social and emotional skills and have a child psychologist who visits the classroom to give guidance. We feel grateful to have found a preschool like this for our son.
