Unethical billing practices. She collected directly from me for each visit despite me telling her I would be using insurance. She told me if I wanted to go through my insurance I would have to complete my own claims to get reimbursed by them. However, when I called the insurance company to start the process they warned me that she was breaking her contract with them by having me submit the claims. Once I relayed what they told me, she offered to submit the claims as she should have done from the start. Keep in mind, she also kept the money I paid her. She is now telling me I have to wait 30 days to get reimbursed by her, when she was never supposed to have collected from me in the first place.
To make matters worse, the last time my child had a session with her I forgot my checkbook so she told me to get cash. There were no banks nearby so I went all the way to northgate to get cash while my daughter was in session with her. I returned 5 minutes before the hour was up and my daughter was outside by herself in tears. Lynn later told me that she doesn’t actually give clients the full hour because she likes to take a break in between clients. I would think the more appropriate thing to do would be to space out the bookings to accommodate for that... not short your clients time. The second visit was also short because she arrived 5 minutes late... but still ended 5 minutes early.
I am just astounded at the lack of professionalism and communication. I am not one to write negative reviews but I feel I must warn people about her.
