Kate made us feel at ease in front of the camera and captured the authenticity of the day in the most beautiful way. Choosing Kate Price as our wedding photographer was hands down the best decision we made for our entire wedding. No question. We are still in awe one week after our wedding at how incredible she is. Just WOW. We worked with Kate for over two years through a long engagement and postponed wedding due to Covid. Throughout the entire 2.5 years of working with Kate she made us feel important and valued, not just as clients but also as human beings. Through delays, rescheduling, downsizing and re-envisioning our wedding, Kate was consistently understanding, patient, thoughtful, and professional and truly felt like a partner in the wedding planning process. Not only is Kate an incredibly talented photographer, she is an absolute joy to be around. On our wedding day, we learned truly how much time you spend with your photographer and there is absolutely no one we would have rather spent our wedding day with than Kate. She handled our crazy families calmly and professionally, she ran around the venue in 102 degree heat and smoke with a smile and pure joy and excitement for us, she made us feel natural and comfortable in all the moments of our wedding day, and she spent additional time behind the scenes scouting out the best locations for the perfect shot with just the right lighting. We trusted her completely on our day and would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, professional, considerate, thoughtful, talented, and wonderful photographer to capture the authentic emotion, love, and special moments of their wedding day, special event, birth, engagement, etc. Couldn't recommend her enough!

We have loved working with Kate for several major life events! She photographed our engagement and wedding and did an incredible job. The photos are beautiful and we got them quickly afterwards. We have continued to use Kate for maternity and newborn photos after our babies have been born as well as family photos yearly. I cannot say enough good things about Kate, her photos, and her professionalism!

If you’re looking for a photographer who is incredibly talented, highly organized, communicative, thoughtful, efficient, AND an absolute pleasure to be around…Kate is your gal! When my husband and I first got engaged, we knew a strong photographer was a priority. We met Kate for coffee, and were immediately impressed with her professionalism, organizational skills, and her warmth. Not only did she come prepared to lead the meeting, was direct with her package offerings and pricing, but she was incredibly easy to talk to and be around. We felt immediately at ease and entirely confident that Kate would do an incredible job on our wedding day. We hired Kate, and selected the package that included an engagement session, which I would highly recommend. This was an awesome opportunity to get to know each other, see Kate in action, and get comfortable in front of the camera. When we arrived for our engagement session, it was clear Kate had a plan. She had researched the location, knew exactly what time the sun was setting, and was even willing to help us select our outfits. From start to finish she made the process feel easy. I kid you not when I say that about 15 minutes in, Chris (my previously very apprehensive about taking photos husband) whispered to me, “this is so fun!” We received our photos just a few weeks later, and were moved to tears. Kate captured our personalities and love for each other perfectly - no posing, no fake laughs, just us. In the lead up to our wedding day, Kate continued with her strong organizational skills and attention to detail. She played a huge role managing our day-of timeline, and also provided suggestions for how to balance photos with enjoying our day (aka getting quality dance floor time). On the day of our wedding, Kate arrived to the venue early to scout her locations, and greeted us warmly with a smile and big hug. She then got to work! I honestly don’t think I have ever seen a photographer work harder, while also being incredibly kind and patient. Throughout the day Kate communicated fabulously with us, our wedding party, our families, and the venue. She managed our long list of must-have photos, as well as our hard-to-wrangle large groups of family and friends. She snuck us away for sweet moments when the light was right, but also allowed us to enjoy time with our guests and on the dance floor. Kate shared a couple of photos just before we left on our honeymoon (so thoughtful!) and then delivered the entire wedding album just a few weeks later. She honestly gave us the most wonderful gift - the opportunity to relive our wedding day through photos. They are amazing! Working with Kate - we felt heard, comfortable, loved, and most of all, ourselves. We cannot express our gratitude for Kate enough, and sincerely hope you will consider working with her.
