We thought we were getting our mom new headshots for Mother's Day. What we ended up getting was an unforgettable experience laughing with Tilly and Robert, as well as some breathtaking images of our mother that we will cherish for years to come. And, in addition to all of that, my mom got endless compliments on her new photos and a confidence boost she so fully deserves. I could not recommend Raven and Rue more--trust their artistic vision, and you will not be disappointed!

The most amazing experience! I was beautifully made up to look like my best real life version, and styled professionally and with a critical eye. As a complete novice, I needed the help! Not once did I ever feel awkward or out of place... while I have never enjoyed getting pictures taken of myself, I felt at ease and confident... for the first time in a long time, I am eager to see the results of pictures! Since my modeling experience is nil, the clear directions and posing was so helpful (and often helped my smile be much more real). Honestly.... you cannot go wrong here. I will absolutely reach out for the next time I need photos or styling, either professionally or personally. I came into the session nervous and with low expectations based on previous experiences... I left feeling strong, sexy and confident. Honestly, it was more than a photo session it was a whole experience.

Launching a new business, to put my best self forward having professional portraits done was a must. Now, who to choose. I live in Seattle where there are a plethora of choices. Once I visited Raven and Rue online, my mind was made up. I need to portrait wisdom, trust, approach-ability and confidence. This is what I saw reflected in the shots on Tilly's site. Never having done portraits before I was nervous! We met a few days before the shoot to go through outfits so it was assured we had the right look. Then came the day of the shoot. Robert was lovely and spent time creating a natural beautiful look. He also knows hair! I have curly hair and he knew, just don't fuss with it. Create looks and that's what we did! Then came time to start shooting. Tilly is strait forward, makes you feel at ease and confident. She pulls from you, that which you want to convey in your portraits. After the shoot, got home, looked in the mirror and promptly burst into tears. I wear little makeup and when I looked closely at my face I was astounded at how much makeup I had on! OH NO! I emailed Tilly my concerns and she assured me; portrait makeup isn't day makeup or evening makeup. It would be great. I found out first hand, the next day! I paid for expedited processing but I had no idea she could turn it around so quickly. We met to review the shots and I was thrilled! Two went onto my website, one onto LinkedIn and another to Facebook. I was thrilled and the feedback from business associates, friends and family was a unanimous two thumbs up! This won't be my last time working with Tilly, and already I have had a few local business associates ask for her information. Tilly, thank you! Well done my friend!
