I have worked with a number of IP firms over my career. Their passion and attention to detail is top notch but it is the sincere interest they took in making sure that we were able to get our patent fully granted and issued that most sets them apart.

Frankly, I have to admit that JD's credentials are impressive, and BOLDS customer service is excellent. I also like the marketing. And, I like the culture, the people. I'm glad I hired BOLD, and I intend to keep them around. They did the job. I'm sorry the outcome was not exactly what we expected, but it has been too many years. Anyway. I look forward to doing a podcast with JD. And, I don't seem to have a shortage of new ideas we can develop in the future. Best Wishes, - Rob Lear

Initially, J.D. was very accommodating and offered to help with correcting co-inventor-ship exclusions made by my former business partners. After three years of working with Bold and roughly $40,000 spent with them trying to work the Seattle court system to recover records from a company I had ownership in (Coolbox LLC), Bold Patents IP is now shaking me down for a small balance owed and during a NATIONAL STATE OF EMERGENCY, a time when my current business (and most businesses around us in WA) isn't generating receivables. So much for social responsibility and community. Response to Response : It's a review, good a place as any. So when did the term "significant leeway" come to mean "pre-collections"? You stuffed up my case and weren't even able to obtain records from a company that I had legal membership in and over the course of years. I spent a fortune on it and got handed my hat. The US economy has ground to a screeching halt, people are out of work, businesses are closed, imports are squashed, banks and landlords are being urged by the government to give people breaks but you guys want to start the process of collections on me. Cool. Well, if Bold was as effective at winning actual cases as yall are at collecting on bills then you wouldn't need collections at all. Looking forward to the next letter.
