Key didn't work the first time. After I complained, they gave me a refund and a coupon for the next purchase. Its works the second time. Impressed with the responsiveness. They have a great collection of keys that you can get. Positive experience in the end

The key was as described and functioned correctly. When I received it. The machine wouldn't accept cash. It also wouldn't give me the key immediately. I needed a key for a house guest that day. I also don't trust them to delete all data about the key. I'm pretty sure they delete enough data that they couldn't re-create the key. I'm also pretty sure they keep enough data to recognize the key should they encounter it again.

I have only had good experiences using these KeyMe kiosks. The first time I used one of these kiosks to duplicate my room key it worked flawlessly and was able to print the key immediately for me to use. It is a bit pricey at ~$7 for a key, but for the convenience this price is worth it. This last time I used the machine to get duplicate a key, I had to have the key shipped to me as the kiosk was unable to make the duplicate. The cost for the key was $10.99. I received the key within the week and unfortunately the key did not fit into the lock as the groves along the length of the key did not properly line up. I emailed, [email protected], detailing the issue and received a response within the day stating that they would issue my card a full refund.

Almost flawless. It was unable to accurately my apartment key and so it would only work with a lot of jiggling and tinkering with the doorknob, and I retried at least once with the same results. Other than this, the other two keys I copied worked as expected.
