Do not rent with Dylan! If you have any doubts, please search the "Magpie on Alki" on Yelp and read the reviews there. They will tell you everything you need to know. I had booked his rental for a weekend in February but as the weekend approached I read that there was going to be a big snow storm that weekend. I let him know of my concerns and asked about the possibility of rescheduling. He refused. On the day we were supposed to check in, I woke up to a foot of snow and the other guests were stuck in their home and could not arrive at the rental. There was a National Weather advisory warning people about the unsafe road conditions. I contacted the host again and told him that it was unsafe to drive to the rental that weekend and asked about moving the dates. He asked me to call him and promptly cited rescheduling as also being an "injury" to him, comparing me getting into a car accident to him not being paid for a service I did not use. He got upset when I told him that these things were not in fact the same and then proceeded to yell at me and try to blame the problem on me. Dylan is incredibly rude and unprofessional. Only book if you enjoy being yelled and and disrespected by your host.
