As a Realtor in the Greater Seattle area, I've had a number of occasions to refer my clients to Inside Out Building Inspection, so I'm very familiar with the great work Reis does. This time around, my fiance and I were the buyers, and I hired Reis to do our inspection. As usual, he did a thorough job, and took the time to point out important elements about the home and all systems that we needed to be aware of, as well as answer all of our questions. And always with an element of humor, which I appreciate. I'll continue to refer my clients to Inside Out, and I'll hire Reis myself the next time around. Service: New construction inspections

Reis is the best inspector I have every worked with. This is my third time working with Inside Out Inspection and I have 100% trust in everything that is discussed. Reis also has an awesome way of breaking things down so that I understand everything at a deep level. Reis has very deep knowledge in Seattle and its landscape. Lastly I was able to do a sewer scope and inspection all at once and in todays market this was huge because it saved me time to get ahead of the other buyers and get the house of my dreams!

Reis was incredibly helpful and generously shared his extensive knowledge about the best ways to keep a home in good shape. He explains the science of heavy topics like water intrusion and expansion/contraction of home materials in a way that's easy to understand, and interesting. I'll be happy to use Inside Out for future inspections and recommend Reis's services!

Cannot recommend highly enough. Reis was communicative at every step leading up to the inspection, showed up on time (and even gave us a heads up that he thought he was on schedule but might be delayed by traffic well in advance), and was very friendly and professional. He was masked and very clearly taking COVID precautions very seriously, which was greatly appreciated. The inspection was extremely thorough compared to others I've had in the past, but still completed in a time that seemed more than reasonable. At the end of the inspection Reis gave me a tour of the house from top-to-bottom and not only covered everything he planned to put in his report, but also gave lots of additional context about why it mattered, how it could be remediated, and how soon action was needed - this is the kind of above-and-beyond experience that separates the best from everyone else. He was upfront ahead of time about the possibility that he would be unable to perform a requested service, and when it turned out that he was in fact unable he recommended someone in the area that could. A wonderful experience as a homeowner, and a truly nice guy to boot. You couldn't hope to do any better.
