Monica Skov

We did a birthday party at It's Just Sewing and I have to say it was hands down the best birthday party we have ever done. Monica was absolutely amazing with the girls--took the time to connect with each of them, encourage them and make them feel special and proud of the "work" they were doing. She has a fantastic philosophy ("it's just sewing!") and connects so naturally with kids to make it an incredible experience regardless of skill level. All of us (kids and moms!) left feeling encouraged and inspired to live creatively. Not to mention the party was a really great value for what Monica offers. Highly recommend!

Took a mommy and me class here with my daughter and absolutely loved it! Monica is very patient with beginners and patient with kids. She will make sure you have the basics of sewing complete before you leave her studio. Cute studio in a nice location. The best part is that after chatting with Monica you will feel like you have been friends forever!
