I wholeheartedly recommend MtBakerDental to everyone. I came here ~3 years ago and still remember how much I enjoyed my dental visits. - receptionist/dentist assistant was always very friendly - as a new patient, I was given a 5 minute lesson on how to properly take care of my teeth. I couldnt believe I never learned this! Floss before you brush at night, while flossing you want to get in between your tooth and gums on both sides of the tooth, ideally dont rinse your mouth after brushing but instead just spit out. Also make sure you brush circular and reach the very back molars - when I had my visit, I remember being told I had around 7 cavities. Mostly on my molars, one behind my bottom teeth, and one in between my teeth too - dr. Kimmie was a savior and filled all my cavities in two sessions, as well as recommended me to a specialist who can pull my wisdom teeth (I also recommend that specialist, affordableoralsurgery, but thats a different review) - fast forward 3 years later, after neglecting to visit the dentist all throughout the pandemic, I moved and visited a new dentist and was told my teeth looked very good except I had one cavity on the side of my very back molar. IMO its still an improvement considering I had 7 cavities previously and that I hadnt visited the dentist in years. I appreciate the dentists at mtbakerdental having actually taken the time to teach me how to properly take care of my teeth! Plus, they have a tv screen at your chair where you can watch Netflix during your appointment! Came in super handy when I had the hours long cavity filling sessions. I wish my new dentist had them!

Amazing dentist. Dr. Zola gave a lot of helpful tips for future hygiene. Staff is very friendly. Overall I enjoyed my visit and I will be visiting again

Not even 1 star. My boyfriend went to this dentist office for an emergency appointment because he was in extreme pain, and the dentist yelled at him for taking too long to fill out his paperwork (mind you he has been in pain for two weeks), and then she berated him for being too poor to afford a root canal for the rest of the appointment. The dentist raised her voice at him, and he politely asked her if she was yelling at him. She said, yes I am. He asked her why she was yelling at him, and she said because he asks too many questions after telling him that he would need 6 root canals costing a total of $12,000. He was alarmed of course. Eventually after taking her disrespect for long enough he talked back in defense. I work in health care and this is the most inappropriate behavior I have heard of happening in a clinic. He wasnt even gone for an hour before calling me to pick him up. He was immediately greeted with hostility from the dentist. I have never seen him so upset. He went back to take a picture of the location to post a review and to apologize for responding with anger to her yelling at him.They oddly saw it fit to call the cops on him. Obviously nothing came of this. He went to a different dentists office the next day for the same kind of appointment and they were more than happy to answer his questions about what the next steps are in his dental care without raising their voice and patronizing him.

Best dentist experience I have ever had!!! All staff including Sharon, Dr. Zalwam (so sorry for misspelling the name, I believe it's that or something close) were wonderfully friendly, caring, attentive, gentle, and uplifting. I felt cared for, seen, and they weren't looking for things to be wrong the way other dentists have. Plus they take Apple Health/medicaid which is amazing.
