Guy working car registrations gave me a form to fill out. I filled it out and went back. He said it was the wrong form and pulled out one that was EXACTLY the same. He wouldn't listen to me when I tried to ask why he gave me a form that he wouldn't accept and why was he trying to give it to me again? He still refused to accept my copy (the one he originally gave me) and wouldn't listen. I will not be returning and I'm sure they could care less.

What's the point of listing a phone number if you're never going to answer your phone?? Have left multiple messages asking for a call back over the past MONTH and nothing.

Was treated horribly for the past couple days trying to get plates for my car. Don't even bother showing up go to a different DOL. My wife and I went in three different occasions trying to get our plates on the car. First time I wasn't there. Kris told my wife she needed my ID card. I walked down and handed it in. Came back another time with just my ID told her I needed to be there in order for him to process it. Come back the third time after jumping through all the hoops with an hour before it closes telling us he doesn't want to do it right now because he is about to pack up for vacation. Both of us work and we made time out of our days trying to do the right thing and get out car registered. Was very unreasonable, unaccommodating and unprofessional.

When I first moved to BI, I stopped at the Chamber of Commerce because they had two things I wanted/needed: tourist information (I wanted maps, brochures, etc. so I could learn more about my new home) and a satellite vehicle registration desk.  The volunteer at the tourist info desk was wonderful and gave me a ton of great info. She also told me when I come in to register my vehicle, its first come, first serve and that they need to strictly adhere to open/close/lunch hours because they only have one agent and he'd never go home or get his lunch if they didn't - I appreciated her honesty and having come from CA, where the DMV is an absolute nightmare, I was okay because this was a service I hadn't expected and didn't mind waiting my turn when I came back later. Since then, I've discovered the chamber does a ton of other stuff to support this small community, provide and collaborate on community events and is a great resource for both the public and local businesses.
