Bader Martin, PS

Been some time coming to write this review. Wow, the highest bills in 2018, 2019 on tax prep.  2020 was ok.  We were charged nearly $30K for 3 years...not too complicated...a company and our personal.  We are not newbies to the tax world.  They als said we had to redo some previous ones by another firm (not a fan of them either Peterson Sullivan)  Guess what, our new firm now says one of those over $10K returns needs to be redone....Avoid some of these huge firms, you get lost in translation between their staff.  They hook you with meeting the seasoned folks but then have new folks working on it, making mistakes, taking their time (they bill you, and then getting the older accountants involved (more $$/time) etc etc.  I am still shocked at their charges. They should have refunded us and taken accountability for their side but we voted with our feet and left.   I have had some great accountants in the greater Seattle area...and some horrible ones.  Avoid Bader Martin unless you want a fancy sale, then $$$$$$$.   Beyond disappointed.

I entrusted them with estate tax preparation on a moderate estate. They have been incredibly slow to do work and unresponsive to e-mails and calls. Very poor service.

Kelly Nelson is awesome. She will advise you the right way, and is very knowledgable in her field. Some cpas I spoke with seem underqualified when compared with Kelly. She is a delight to talk to, and I did not feel rushed what so ever over our phone call. She took the time to listen to my situation and provided helpful analysis. Thanks Kelly!

As the CFO of a startup and then growing small business, I was a customer of Bader Martin for 4 years. The accounting and tax advice that I received over that timeframe was invaluable. From the subjects of R&D credits to analyzing economic and sales tax nexus, Bader's team guided us through these new areas and enabled us to stay focused on our business. I can't say enough good things about the high quality and timeliness of the work delivered.

If I could give this company a zero rating , i would. After 35+ years with this company, they dropped me off their client list. My divorce left them keeping my ex as a client.  I learned of this through a very cryptic letter informing me they would no longer work for me as my CPA.I am still part owner of  the companies my ex and I share.Ladies beware...Bader Martin will choose a man if they feel accounts need to be separated.
