I went to get a haircut + color from my hair dresser I have been going to for hair service for many years. She used to charge $35 for  haircut and now raised price to $65-$75 for a haircut. I texted her a few days ahead to get an estimate on my hair and she gave me an estimate of $300. I told her to lower it down a bit and she said the cost might go down a bit but not a lot. I went in to get a haircut and she cut my hair, full foil and did cut again. I was unaware of additional services she was adding. I wish she shared the treatments she was giving. Not knowing the cost and expected to pay $300. I asked her to give me the total and she estimated to $493. I was shocked. I couldn't say much since there were many customers there. I was not satisfied with my hair color since I showed her the hair color I wanted and she gave me something totally different. She charged me $155 for full foil, $126 for base color run through, $87 for cellophane toning (she did not mention that she was adding this treatment), Extra Application $60,  and cut $65 = $493.Am I over exaggerating? I texted her to fix my hair and she never answered my messages. When you go in, please ask her what additional services she adding/charging for. I was bothered by her dishonesty and I should have pain $300 since I never asked for extra treatments she added to my hair. The hair dresser's name is Young. Beware!
