I would give less than 1 star if i could. Avoid at all costs. Horrible management company, frequent water turn offs, regular raises to your rent with each leasing cycle, and a super noisy neighborhood where bums sneak into the building to squat. Oh and they like to send in their repair crews as early as 8am to start banging around and wake up everybody. Becuase it's not like anybody in Cap Hill may just happen to work nights... horrible place. I wish I never moved in here. Avoid at all costs unless super desperate.

The Burlingame seems to have come a long way in the last year since some of these older reviews. The current manager is super friendly and helpful and has been working along with the community of tenants to make the building a clean, beautiful and comfortable place to live. They hired a (very expensive) bedbug sniffing dog to make sure every last apartment was clean and free of pests. Can't beat the location, and central heat in the winter! I love my home on the hill!

I have been lucky enough to call the Burlingame my home for about 4 years now and it's been just a wonderful experience to see how far this building has come. When moving in in 2014 it was definitely rocky, there was definite approvement that needed to be done but when the current building manager stepped in, everything got taken care of in a swiftly manner. The views are amazing if you're lucky enough to get an apartment facing south. The noise levels are fairly high on the weekends, but due to location there's not much you should suspect. Each apartment per floor has there very own unique design that's super cute and quaint. In addition, the building manager we have is firm but incredibly fair and has made this building more then it has been in years. 5/5

I lived in this apartment for about two months. Worst experience of my life. The apartment manager emailed me almost daily regarding some issue anywhere from plumbing issues to people smoking in the building. There was always an excuse for someone to come into the apartment, plumbing issues, window inspections, fire alarm inspections, any and every excuse that they could come up with. The building itself was littered with garbage, drug paraphernalia, and people who were obviously on drugs. The emergency exit alarm would go off daily, if not multiple times a day. The landlord's solution was the block the emergency exit with caution tape, creating not only an eyesore, but a safety hazard. Anyone looking to move into this apartment should seriously reconsider!
