    Lived here for a year. Okay neighborhood, except parking is a pain. I would email management about noise complaints (other residents playing music so fkn loud until 6am... seriously) and they would NEVER reply. I would email them about payment and they reply right away. Right?! No problem about getting deposits back (after I spoke to corporate office which I had to research and look for their number on my own) except the leasing office would be hands off and would never help you since their “corporate office handles these type of stuff”. I would give 5 stars if Brittany was still there, she was the best leasing agent! Too bad she left after like 6 months from when we started staying there.

    I moved in one month before Coast Prop. Mgmt. took over. When they did so, it became Section 8 housing, which would have been fine with me, if not for how my neighbors and I began to be treated. Coast packed the building up quickly. Rumor has it that that's why the new owners, who are technically a Mt. Baker nonprofit, think Coast is doing a good job. I was given a threat to evict me for noise I didn't make, but when I made noise complaints myself before and after that, they were ignored. I found a threatening letter on my door rather than being contacted first, although they had my e-mail and cell number on file. I had to figure out the source of the noise myself, in order to remove the 10-day eviction notice from my file. I resent having to do these offsite managers' jobs for them, in that and other ways. People on a limited income are clearly not worth treating with decency and respect to this company. For example they clearly presumed that I'm capable of violating the terms of my lease, which I'm not. I give 2 stars instead of 1 because I agree that Brittany is very good. She's spread way too thin, but she's decent and she tries. However, the other people I dealt with, including Laura, are mercenary sheep. Other notes: 1. When the building had ants, I rearranged my apartment as asked so the exterminators could do their job, but my apartment was never treated and the ants kept marching in. And 2. The building manager/handyperson is responsible for several other properties, and cannot be counted on to show up or to care.
