We are some of the first to move into this building. Till this day I am amazed at what I am getting for my money. This place is very upscale inside the apartments compared to everywhere else. We were thinking about moving to something less city but no where comes close to the quality of this place. Our two bedroom apartment has basically floor to ceiling windows with nice bright natural light. We even have a nice big wall that we use for our home theater projector (ballin' on a budget). I'm from the suburbs and I am used to privacy and upscale clean living. This is right in stride with the way I want to live. Everything is within walking distance. There is no traffic in your way. The area is right on the Amazon campus so literally everyone around you is some type of professional. Each building has private Amazon security and zero dark alleys. Every few days Amazon will have street cleaners come in and wash all the buildings and side walks. EVERY weekday there are food trucks up Boren AVE. This is awesome because the food comes to you. There are not many other places to live downtown where this occurs every weekday. Also Amazon Go is a 1min walk from our front door, and Bartel is within yelling distance. Seriously you don't need a car if you live in this building. This place is also located about a 8min walk from Whole Pay Check, I mean Whole Foods. This is also a major plus because I don't shop for the week and thus I want access to groceries at a moment's notice, even if it cost a fortune at Whole Pay Check. Parking can be an issue but the staff has recently secured private parking for residents and that is a major MAJOR plus. Staff. The staff here is AWESOME. They are laid back and very very friendly. One staff member in particular J.R. is fantastic. This guy is always professional, and approachable. He fits this property so well because everyone around here is laid back and we love the young professional laid back vibe he gives. He takes the time to chat with residents and he made a huge personal effort to secure parking for my wife and I. He is not too young and not too old and this helps him be the most relatable staff member that has worked at this building. No building is perfect. I wish the gym was upstairs but at least this place has a private gym. The trash guys seem to come at weird hours and can sometimes be loud. Other times you never hear them (ninjas). Their Fox Lair (private party room) is legit awesome. The furniture and artwork are cool. The TV is big! They also offer private storage in a secure part of the building that requires keycard access. The roof top view is nice although Google and Facebook are building across the street and this may affect the view of the lake. So if you want the city vibe without having to live in the center of the gritty city, this building is probably one of the best. We all know some of the issues living in the city can bring, and this place really doesn't have those issues. I tried to dig through my phone for photos of how we live at Fox & Finch. I hope they help others when looking for a hidden gem. Just don't all come here and drive up my reasonable rent. (I didn't proof read this because I'm lazy) -Mike

Seems like a great apartment complex where I would love to live, but I have been trying to get in contact for weeks and no one will get back to me. Would love some better communication.

The management changes so often and work orders takes so long.

I wanted to love living here but had so many bad experiences that I couldn't. The biggest problem we faced were consistently loud neighbors and being able to hear them in our apartment. The person that lived above us stomped (yes stomped.. so much it sounded like they were coming through the ceiling) around their apartment most of the day and into the night until 3am. Management never helped us with this and made us feel like it was a personal problem by saying things like "well I know that tenant works during the day so I don't know why they'd be awake at 3am". We struggled with this for the entirety of our lease here. It got so bad that we considered breaking our lease. Cons: - Management changed 3 times in the year that we lived there. - No safety enforced protocols regarding the pandemic. - Gym and common areas were available for use during pandemic and not sanitized after each use. - Was never told there was a dog washing station, compost, bike storage until I found it myself the day before we moved out. - Maintenance took minimum 3 days to fix or even acknowledge any problems in apartment -- we lived without a dishwasher for 3 weeks. - I had packages stolen as they have a mail room that isn't secured or monitored regularly. Packages are placed on open shelves and not secured. Management didn't do anything about this. - They rented out units for corporate housing which makes the noise problem very difficult because they don't reach out to tenants directly and don't help during our time there. It seemed this changed toward the end of our lease. - Garbage trucks come into back alley (where half of the apartments face) as early as 3am to 7am on almost every weekday morning. Pros: - Good location to south lake union and lake front area.
