Keelson Ballard

The Keelson was the first apartment I ever lived in and they set the bar very high. Brandon and the team are the best and you feel like a part of their family and like they genuinely care about you. The facilities are great and the apartments themselves are very high quality. I would recommend this building to anyone thinking about moving into an apartment in Ballard - they are the best!

I called keelson home for 2.5 years and would recommend this building for others. Our unit was a corner unit on the second floor, and we never had issues hearing our neighbors next to us or above us. Honestly one of the best parts about here is the staff. Brandon and his staff were been super helpful, kind, and responsive. The community spaces, elevators, and lobby were always clean and easy to use. Packages were kept in a safe area and we never really had a problem. When having an issue with the units, the handyman is quick to arrive and help with any fixes. The parking garage is secured and we have never been broken into, and they’ve beefed up security around the building as Ballard has experience an increase in neighborhood activity. Having a dog here has been awesome with the wood chip area on the roof and dog wash. It’s nearby a new dog bar which is a really big plus too! Speaking of things nearby, the location being on the edge of Market is perfect. Living on a block with the D line is also a major perk. It comes every 5 minutes, and if you work downtown it’s just 20 minutes. When the 15x comes back after covid, it’s even faster. Then there are too many great restaurants and bars that we frequented, Salt and Straw, Kangaroo and Kiwi, Monkey Bar, the Pie Bar, El Borracho, and so much more. Seriously, this place is a walkers paradise. Overall, would recommend. If you’re reading this and considering this place home, go for it. It’s a great place to help experience Seattle.

We’ve been here for a couple years now and Brandon and team have always been phenomenal. Genuinely sad to be moving away from them, lol, they’ve been the most helpful to us and are always a pleasure to chat with. Brandon goes above and beyond and legitimately cares about making this a happy place to live. Site is always super clean and well-maintained, absolutely loved our space while we’ve been here, made fantastic memories on the rooftop, dog wash and run stations have been lifesavers for us. Can’t recommend this place enough, love love love living here and will miss it a lot.

Lived here for 2 years and loved it. Zero complaints. Brandon, Marissa, and the rest of the Keelson staff were always on top of it and were swift to respond to anything that came up. They really go out of their way to ensure tenants feel like they are part of a community. Brandon knew our names and unit number after just the first week of living there. There are +100 units in this building, so that's impressive! We were sad to leave but simply grew out of our space.

We are sad to leave Ballard and Keelson specifically. We lived here for 2 years and really enjoyed our experience. The manager, Brandon, is easy to work with, communicates well and genuinely cares about the residents happiness. Highly recommend!
