Greenwood Place Apartments

The manager there is a little bit strange. She was very nice when I first saw her and planned to move in, but after I moved in, she changed her attitude completely. Every time I say “hi” to her, and her answer was like I owe her a lot of money... when I just moved in, she knew my name and when I have lived there for one year, she forgot everything. Every time she emails me or texts me, she never calls my name at all even I remind her several times. After a while, she even told me she didn’t have my email address. I thought she and I should be more familiar with each other because I live there for two years, but day by day, the relationship between us is from friendly apartment manager and resident to enemies. I even don’t know how this changes happened.

I lost my package not once, not twice, but thrice!! 😭 i tried contacting the manager to help me track or check security tapes but got no response. Feels like the package drop is inconsistent (sometimes its in front of your apartment, sometimes its in the mailroom). What scares me is i have no idea if there is a package thief living in the building or the carrier who is inconsistent.

I rented a 2 bd/2bath for a year. I really liked having the extra space, huge bathrooms, nice kitchen and the large balcony. The layout was a little odd, but we made it work just fine. The best part: Small building, no gym, no pool = QUIET. The neighbourhood is really nice, and there's a park not far from the building. Bus stop is right outside. Management is great. We had very few maintenance issues and it was always taken care of. I'm extremely sensitive to noise, and this was by far the quietest apartment I've ever had (in spite of some road noise). At one point we got noisy neighbours and consequently had to move out, but otherwise I would have renewed.

Great management and it's relatively quiet. Full size appliances and garage parking as a major major plus. They do allow smoking on the balconies. My neighbors smokes A LOT and it's really irritating since my balcony sliding door is the only window I have.
