Only half a block away from UW, everything looks about new. A spacious and comfy studio!

Deposit is 3 weeks late. Walls are thin. The water pressure is bad. Internet service is not dependable. The freezer does not work.

I lived in U20 from summer 2019 through summer 2020 and I would absolutely recommend this building. Pros: This building is virtually new so the furnishings and appliances are modern and work well. Laundry room is a little small but I rarely had to wait for an empty machine. Management is very responsive and even went out of their way to send me a Starbucks gift card on my birthday, something the much larger building I stayed at last year would never have done. Maintenance requests are filled fast. I had two issues during my lease and both were addressed same-day or next-day. Cons: Frat house across the street plays music at all hours. Sometimes just one guy sitting back there alone, I kind of feel sad for him. You will have to take the stairs if you're on floors 2-5, and that can add some challenges to moving. That's about it, I had zero major issues and zero safety concerns during my time there. Only reason I didn't stay another year was because I needed a place with a little more space, but this is the perfect spot for someone looking to live comfortably by themselves or economically with a roommate.

Toured the building, nice units, but there’s a couple odd things I noticed. First off, the building is 5 floors yet doesn’t have an elevator. So if you ever get injured, not sure how you’d get to your room. Also, the shower doors only go to about 5’7”. So if you’re anything like the average male, you would need to duck underneath it to get into the shower every time. Additionally, there is only two sets of washers and dryers located on the 1st floor to be used by the entire 45+ unit building. Feel like this would run you into some problems.
