If I could put negative stars , I would. This apartment building is the absolute worst. The elevator was not working for 2 weeks & my daughter lives on the 9th floor. And this happens often along with no hot water or any water at all. Also homeless people hang out in the laundry room. This building is literally falling apart. The only positive is it's affordable compared to other apartments. Management doesn't care. This place is a dump. Don't even consider renting here.

Management is completely clueless, Manager Brandon has gone out of his way too persecute me since day one i,ve lived here for nearly three years never had a problem till he arrived im always ahead on my rent keep a clean apartment and keep too myself however the manager Brandon has issued a ten day notice for destruction of property yet he can't name the supposed property that was destroyed, he can only come up with saying that a smudge on a window somewhere amounts too property destruction! He also refused to let me borrow a key when I locked myself out once he told me I had to call a locksmith even though he could just spend 5 minutes to unlock my apartment currently my toilet hasn't worked for two months despite the countless work orders I've put in when my window was shot out by someone on the streets with a bb gun he claimed that I was responsible for getting that fixed through much pressure and the the help of section 8 I finally got them 2 fix the broken window after 3 months, I love my little home its to bad the manager tries to create problems and anger when it,s in everyone's interest to spread solutions and

I stayed at this place in apt 806 for around 6 months in 2022. My apt did not have issues related to rats or bugs. Only thing I felt was the kitchen space was limited and especially sink area. I would consider this place as a good value for living since the rent is low in downtown. The building is improved a lot in terms of issues it used to have in past. Management has taken steps to prevent entry of outsiders by locking alternate entry points and they are trying their best to further improve it by extending the number of cameras and a more sophisticated screening process for tenant applications. Elevator often breaks down for extended hours of time but I am sure management trying their best to get a permanent fix for that solution. Lots of respect for the management and Maven for trying their efforts in improving the building.

Ah the Lowell. Personally I love it and its a great value, but there are some major issues. First being is that this place is not very safe. In my hallway alone there have been stabbings and one shooting since I moved in as well as extreme domestic violence. The hallways as well as the stairwells are unsafe as people tend to do drugs in both and camp out with needles. As a larger person I havent been accosted but I have heard from others about incidents. Another issue is that I havent had consistent hot water. It will be on sometimes or just not available as cold or hot water. Also kinda strange that I have to pay for laundry. Now, I will say that there is good stuff. I love how cheap it is and where its located. I also enjoy how strange it is. Everyone is kinda a weirdo there and it makes me feel at home.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!!!! I am only giving 1 star because I have to and because the location and old charm are nice. However I was staying here for barely a month when I got BED BUGS!!! I have been going back and forth with them for months on that issue and other hot water and cleaning issues but gotten nowhere and now have to move out. Ill have to hope that the items I bring to my next spot are not infested and will lose items as well. The nice people and overall feel of the place isnt enough to keep me there with bed bugs. I was hoping this place was going to work out as it seemed to have so much promise but allowing people to live in uninhabitable units and still asking them for rent is ridiculous. I cant wait to leave! UPDATE 1/11: I have left and lost many things but am so happy to be free. They treated me with such disrespect just for wanting a livable home. I have also now heard that there are issues with heat in the building and tenants are being encouraged to buy their own heaters and blankets. There also is still the issue of no hot water. Residents were told the issue would take longer than 24 hours to fix and its not the first time people have had no access to hot water. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE
