My father in law passed almost 2 years ago. Sonya has always done his taxes. We went to her because we never received it. She has not filed any of the paperwork to the IRS, that she had my husband fill out to get the refund. Every time we call or go there she is never in. I hope she is ok. Ot the way to keep clients.

Turns out she took instruction from my husband to not file the return and to not communicate with me. This borders on unethical and I'll be addressing the issue as soon as I'm done with my divorce.

The IRS has been unable to provide me with a transcript because theyre saying my return has not been filed. We pay Sonya to do our return as we have done since at least 2013. Ive been trying to contact Sonya for two months via email and phone with no response or suggestion as to what needs to be done.

I used Sonya Vazquez in 1996 I had a business in Tacoma and she came knocking on my door said she heard I might need a CPA I'm just letting everybody know that I would never use her again she is a thief and in the end the IRS never even knew that I had a business I was so Proprietor in 1996 and Incorporated in 1997 Sonya Vazquez filed our taxes and in 1996 she said that I owed $16,667 and some change I wrote her a check and evidently I'm not sure where it went because if the IRS didn't know that I ever had a business they didn't get the money the only thing that needs to happen to her is her business needs to be closed and she needs to go to jail

Don't go here.I was a new owner of a restaurant and wanted an accountant who would keep honest and meticulous books, make sure we were getting all our deductions, pay our taxes on time, file the quarterly forms and provide me with a monthly P&L statement.  Sonya met me and told me she could do all of that as well as do our Payroll and reporting to all the tax agencies.  So we went with her.Three months later I was getting calls that we were delinquent on tax payments.  Calls/emails to Sonya were not answered. Then she said she would fix it.Six months later we were still delinquent with fines and fees.  I fired Sonya and went with another accountant to get my taxes done which was a nightmare because new accountant had nothing to work with except shoddy P&L's.I hate to give a terrible and scathing review but Sonya's unprofessionalism and and inefficiency cost me a lot of money and time and affected me and my business.  Be forewarned that my bad experience is similar to those of the other reviewers who also had the same, bad experience.
