If you are a tent camper, you need to read this. My husband & I tried to camp here for our anniversary, and we had a wonderful day on the lake until the next-door campers had an ATV dropped off (ATVs are not allowed) and they joy-rode all along the beach for the rest of the day right in front of our tent. When 930 PM came, they turned on their loud music, and they kept it on past 11, even thought I asked them 4 times to turn it down; the 4th time, they just laughed at me.The guy's response was "I've been coming here for years; I basically OWN this campground. I can do anything I want to here and nobody can do a thing about it." From the time they arrived in the early afternoon, the guy constantly talked and cursed loudly. At 11:30 pm, I went over one last time because our OTHER side neighbors didn't know what to do about it; they were frantic b/c their child couldn't sleep. I went over and told him that 10 was the start of quiet time, and no one else in the park was making any sound except him and that he was disturbing everyone. He said it was HIS campsite and he could do what he wanted. I went back to my tent and he threatened me with "You better watch out that nothing happens to you when you sleep tonight, or maybe something will happen to your car." With those threats, I knew that we had to leave. With no cell service, there was no way to call the sheriff or the resort owner. With no camp lighting, the walk to the streetside motel was a bleak, dark walk. At 1230 am, we packed up our camp and left. What a horrible way to spend an anniversary camp trip. We had to drive to Yakima 45 minutes away and get a motel room for $80 plus. When we left the next day to head for Rainier, we stopped by the Silver Beach resort to get our money back. They had it ready, and said that the "problem had been taken care of," but would not say exactly what they did. They refunded our 2 nights' stay but it still ended up costing us $150 more, nerves, and time. Apparently, THIS HAS HAPPENED BEFORE, according to Google reviews, with one reviewer (in the same month of AUGUST) complaining about loud music until 3 am and no one stopped it. We will NEVER EVER stay at this place ever again. NO security and less-than-adequate compensation for what we went through. I really wish I'd called the sheriff now, but it's done.

Do not frequent this place. I repeat, do not go here. The bathrooms are not clean, the owner is rude to costumers. If you need groceries in the area try Rimrock grocery at the far east end prior to the damn. If you need accommodations try anywhere, and I mean anywhere else.

If I could give new owners a horrible review I would. Worst owners ever

Beautiful place but lousy customer service. We stopped and purchased items from the store and had never seen the campground so walked down to observe while discussing plans for future family gatherings. Came back up to our car and was addressed rudely by a gal insisting we pay a $7 day pass fee that we weren't aware of and wasn't even there for 1 hour. We paid it but I guarantee they've lost much more than $7. We'll never be back. They should consider who they hire and how they want their customers to be treated. I've never been treated so rudely.

After years of camping here with family and friends, I can say with absolute certainty that the new ownership and management as of July 2021 are anything but an improvement.
Beautiful scenery? Still there. Great lakefront sites? You bet! Awesome location? 100%
Customer service? The worst I’ve ever experienced at a campground… or, possibly anywhere. Please make an effort to improve your relations with customers, specifically your communication regarding policy, expectations, and overall demeanor. My experience was unnecessarily stressful due to the lack of communication upfront. I did not feel welcome or respected.
Case in point: There is a lot to love about this place, but my recent experience left a very poor impression. I wouldn’t recommend it like I used to.
