I have worked with Thomas now on 3 separate occasions over 2 years. Each of the times, Thomas has helped me much above and beyond the minimum required of his role including drafting all papers, sending them to required parties and reviewing every paper as soon as possible. Not only this, he is extremely prompt in answering emails and will often entertain a call answering a lot of questions en-masse and even invited me to his office once to go through every doubt. He only keeps the phone when everything has been answered, offers lots of insights into which I had no idea. The cases for which he helped me were pre-nupital agreement, reviewing all paperwork for purchasing a new house & a case with a builder who wouldn't refund our earnest money despite backing out during contingency periods. Thomas made sure there was seriousness added to the case which we or our agents couldn't achieve solely via negotiations. Thomas sent stern-worded letters with drafts of summons notice to the sellers. The best part is he accepts ARAG, so I don't have to worry about payment and hourly billing.
I am glad to have been able to work with Thomas on multiple occasions.

Thomas helped me with a real estate case for getting back my earnest money after my loan application denial. He is quite eager to help by investigating the whole process carefully and find strong evidence that I am entitled to the earnest money. He actively negotiated with the seller's attorney as well. I finally got my earnest money back. He is quite professional, knowledgable and be responsible for his client. Strongly recommend.

Mr Vest was forgetful and made many errors on my case. one of the worst, was sending the wrong persons information when he filed. when i confronted him with his errors, he was rude and left it up to me to correct. he was never ready to answer questions and in fact was put off that i actually had questions. if you don't want to do the work, and do it correctly, don't take the case. and if you do take the case, pay attention to what you are doing! you are messing with peoples lives and well being.

Mr. Vest was an excellent lawyer. He told me everything I needed to get to him and when I needed it done and was able to do the work I could not in order to get my bankruptcy completed.
However as someone else said he seemed irritated when I would ask a question and 75% of the time he would ignore my emails or ignore half of the questions in an email and I would have to continue sending the same questions over and over.
He also did not do a great job being personable. I do not think he means to be, but he is rather blunt and can come off as rude both in emails and in person.
I do feel that I was over-charged for his services. He said to me in the beginning that since I was unemployed he needed to charge me extra and have all the money up-front. In the initial phone conversation set up by an online service he had told me the fee could be as low as $200 but it depended upon many variables and he would need to have the in-person (free) meeting with me in order to determine the cost-the first 45 minutes or hour (I can't remember which) were free. He told me that my case seemed very straight forward and could see no obstacles or issues with it being discharged, so I was quite surprised when the price quoted in the end was $1600.00. I feel I was taken advantage of, especially since I had to have my parents help me out.
What matters in the end are results and he definitely produced them. My bankruptcy was discharged and although I had to ask him about things he was eventually able to make me feel less stressed about the process.
