I have stayed here twice now and both times it was great!!! Very friendly and helpful staff!! Rooms are spacious and clean, its affordable and a great location for so many things!!

My name is Sheila. My stay at the Candlewood Suites in Lakewood WA turned into a nightmare. I stayed there from February 18 to March 4 2022. I had two rooms. Room 128 and 129. Upon settling in for the evening I discovered there was an unwelcome four legged guest in the room with my daughter, granddaughter, and myself. A mouse! I immediately went to the front desk, to inform the staff, trying to be as discrete as I could. I was asked did you take a picture. My response No I was standing up in the bed screaming.
Both rooms had issues with ants in the bathroom which I reported to be asked did I take a picture. I was preparing to check out when discover the evidences of the mouses all in the cabinet under the sink, as well as in my reusable bags I had stored under there. I call the front desk sure enough I was asked did you take pictures. This time I took pictures. I showed them to the front desk clerk at the time, who also came and took pictures to discover the mouse had been running rampaged throughout the room. Its dropping were on the back of the table behind all of my paper plates, cups, spoons, and forks. The table where we ate at. Gross! There was also mice droppings on the top back of the TV stand. I call customer relations filed a complaint to be insulted. I was told the manager offered you to move. This is how that went. I informed the on Feb 18, 2022 of this issues. I was told the hotel was sold out so they could move me. So on Feb 19 2022. A staff from Candlewood Suites call and left a message on room 128 phone and on my cell phone about do I want to move. By the time I responded I was told the hotels was sold out for the weekend. Go figure! I should have been moved. I wasnt. To me the bottom line was profit. They finally moved me into another room March 3, 2023. Room 123 which also had ants even worst than the other two rooms. Oh but I was due to check out March 4, 2023. Im an IGH member, both rooms were listed yesterday, under my account. Yet since my filing this complaint my stays at the Candlewood Suites have been removed from my account.
