More than two decades ago, after several disappointing experiences with another dentist, I took a leap of faith and headed to Auburn Family Dental. I was blown away by how comfortable the environment of the office was and the level of care from the front desk and office team to the hygienists to the dental assistants to Dr. Durflinger herself. After almost ten years of great dental services, I moved to New York City. I searched for a new dentist, but never found anyone who could compare. Then, after a decade in the Big Apple, I returned to the Auburn area. I knew I absolutely wanted to reestablish care with Auburn Family Dental. I'm so glad to be back with their considerate, thorough, collaborative, passionate, and outstanding team. My gums are happy, my teeth are feeling nurtured and looking great, and my confidence in my care has been restored.

When I think about Auburn Family Dental, I think how ironic it is to have the name "family" in their name... when you're a patient of Auburn family dental, you are treated as family and you know its sincere. From Diane's friendly smile at the front desk, to Wendy making sure you are sound, and have everything you need before you leave the chair. And Dr. Marie.... Who knew from the start that I was not an easy patient, but thru her professional, caring way, she gained my confidence and trust. Dr. Marie Durflinger is an asset to her field and her profession. It doesn't matter who is cleaning my teeth or is making my next appointment, I generally feel important to all. Thank you Dr. Marie and all your staff for giving me my smile back, along with my confidence! Love to all and happy holidays!

I had some emergency services done here a few months ago. The staff performed the necessary services and also recommended deep cleaning. I was shown the estimates of what my insurance would pay for the services, but I was not even warned that my benefits would max out and I would have to pay out of pocket for the difference. The front desk claimed that they wouldnt have known since all the services were done at the same time. Wouldnt it make more sense if they had just done the emergency (required) services and forgo the deep cleaning? They should know that I would hit my benefit limit just doing the emergency services. Now I have an additional $700+ out of pocket bill to pay for. I thought I had found a dentist I can finally trust, but like most of the ones Ive encountered their main priority is going after your money. If youre thinking about coming to this place I would suggest just getting whatever you need done taken care of and not agree to anything else they are recommending. Or better yet just find another dentist, which is what I will be doing now.
