I took the laptop to Geeks Zone and asked if they could determine what happened and if it could be fixed. I was told they could assess my system and would get back to me in 2 or 3 days. On day 3, they contacted me a told me that the update corrupted my hard drive, and it would need to be replaced. They gave me an estimate on both time and cost for the repairs. i was very comfortable with both and told them to proceed with the fixes needed.
They completed the fix within the time estimated and at a cost a bit lower than the estimate. When I picked up my laptop, they also gave me my original corrupted hard drive and told me they upgraded me to Windows 11. The laptop performs better now than it did before I had the issue. If I need any tech assistance in the future, Geeks Zone would be my choice for service. And I would recommend them to anyone with computer issues,
