image Social worker was fantastically helpful
Therapy staff were top quality
Nurses and aid staff ranged from excellent to good and all seemed very concerned for the patients, though they were understaffed
Food was 10% good, 10% bad and 80% mediocre
Had little interaction with admin staff, but nothing bad
Wound Dr was great
On call Dr and Nurse Practitioner were mostly useless and annoying

image My husband was in Consulate Rehab on Jamestown Rd. for about 2 weeks in July after a Knee Replacement. He receive excellent care from Nursing staff, OT, Pt, and Speech Therapy. Housekeeping and Dietary were very helpful and accommodating to his needs. Everyone in all departments were respectful, professional and compassionate. Our experience was excellent.

image LPN lies on people, I was cursed out by one, the other 3 lied to help their friends, CNA were quitting, Any African LPN or C NA were mocked by their way of taking. They write you up on lies, Nursing isn't like kit use to be, this all happened in Jan of this year

image The nurses were great!!! The one administration person we dealt with was problem. My dad was discharged which I did not agree with, although I wanted him out of there!!!! The nurses did not know he was being discharged and it was a mess so the communication is lacking there and no help with anything. He then fell 2 days later which resulted in yet another ER visit. The administration only cares about money (which we would pay out of pocket) and not patient safety or well being. He is currently at a place that does not have a LTC bed but have him in a bed in a hospital setting until one becauses available. Consulate would not help. Do not send your loved one here!!!! Again nurses big help and great!!!!! I have discussed it with the proper channels so please don't respond with your computer automated reply to contact some hotline that is not gonna care either.

image This rehab needs to be under investigation by the government. This place is horrible. They are under staffed. Few staff will go out of their way to make good of a bad situation. The others are just rude. They lack resources and supplies needed to get the job done. Shortage of wash cloths and towels. The kitchen and food is provided by an outside contractor. Patients receive No fresh fruit or vegetables. Everything is from a can. The glassware and silverware are often dirty. You get no choice i
what you receive each meal. You eat what they give you. They favor carrots, butter beans and French fries. The kitchen is locked after 5pm dinner and does not reopen until breakfast the next day. From 6pm to 8am if a diabetic patient needs nourishment to raise their blood sugar, there are peanut butter crackers and peanut and jelly sandwiches that are on the counter at the nurses station that are there all day. No juice is available when the kitchen is locked. This facility does not have soda diet or otherwise.
You have a button to call for a nurse, but they cant respond. You have to wait for them to physically come to your room which could take from 10 mins to an hour if youre lucky.
Im thankful that I was there for occupational and physical therapy for a short period of time after hospitalization for COVID-19. Their therapy programs are also independent contractors that happen to be very good. I had family members that could fill in where needed. My heart goes out to those That dont have that kind of support
